SAMPLE FOOD STATION MENUS

Food stations are a popular option for modern events and weddings. Smaller tables are set up through out the event with specific themes presented. Some stations are self-service and some require a chef present to serve. Hot, chef manned stations increase the cost of service. Usually 3-4 stations are appropriate for a refreshment and 4-6 are suitable for a meal replacement.

SAMPLE FOOD STATIONS

CHILLED SEAFOOD STATION
a seasonal and Ocean Wise assortment that might include hot and cold smoked wild salmon and Albacore tuna, butter clams, mussels, prawns and shrimp. Served with housemade cocktail sauce, harrissa, aioli, red onion, capers and fresh lemon

OYSTER STATION (chef manned - seasonal)
Fresh shucked oysters with assorted mignonettes, cocktail sauce, fresh horseradish, hot sauce and fresh lemon

CHARCUTERIE STATION
a selection of local and imported salumis, dry cured hams, pate, terrine, rillette etc... served with fresh melon, marinated olives, cornichons pickles and moutarde a l'ancienne

CHEESE STATION
a selection of local and imported cheese, including soft, blue and hard cheeses. Served with assorted crackers, spiced nuts, seasonal fruit and fig compote

SALAD STATION
"Toss your Own" Caesar Salad with housemade croutons, bacon, parmasan cheese, fresh lemon, capers and housemade Caesar dressign
Fresh Tomato and Bococcini Cheese Salad with Fresh Basil, Kildara Farm Greens, Olive Oil and White Balsamic Reduction

SUSHI STATION
Assorted vegetarian and seafood sushi rolls, nigiri and sashimo with assorted condiements

GASPACHO STATION
Assorted seasonal gaspachos such as, Fiery Fresh Tomato Gaspacho, Cucumber Gaspacho with Almond, Avacado Gaspacho with Watermelon  

ANTIPASTO STATION
Marinated and grilled Italian style vegetables and dips, such as grilled mushrooms, eggplant, zuchinni, red bell pepper, pickled spicy peppers and seasonal housemade pickles, and organic white bean dip, served with baguette

BAKED POTATO BAR
baked potatoes with a wide array of topping including butter, sour cream, scallions, cripsy shallots, cheddar cheese, housemade maple bacon bits, broccoli florets, sauteed mushrooms, edamame beans, housemade pickled jalepenos and pico de gallo

TOSTADA or TACO STATION
Barbacoa BC Raised Beef Brisket, Naturally Raised Chicken Tinga with Grilled Red Bell and Poblano Peppers, Cochinita or Pork al Pastor or Organic Refried Black Beans (choose 2 or 3) served with served with corn tortillas, shredded organic cabbage, sour cream, fresh lime, house pickled red onion and jalepeno, pico de gallo and fire roasted tomato and chipotle salsa

BBQ STATION
BC Raised BBQ Beef Brisket and /or BC Raised Pulled Pork served with buns, housemade bbq sauce, lemon and buttermilk coleslaw, bbq mop & chow chow relish

CORN ON THE COB STATION (Seasonal)

with Garlic-Chive or Chili Lime Butter, Mexican style Elote

 

BBQ CHICKEN STATION

Naturally Raised Okanagan Chicken

with a Brown Sugar and Ancho Chili Rub and finished with Traditional BBQ sauce

-served with mini cornbread and coleslaw

 

SLIDER STATION

-Mini Beef Burgers with Carmalised Onion, Roasted Garlic Aioli, Bread and Butter Pickles and Aged Cheddar

-Pulled Pork Siders with Housemade BBQ Sauce and Chow Chow Pickle

-Mushroom and Black Bean Burgers (veg) with Goat Cheese and Candied Red Onion

 

MACARONI AND CHEESE STATION

Creamy Macaroni and Cheese with assorted toppings, such as: Wild Pacific Shrimp, Confit Cherry Tomatoes, Broccoli Florets, Chorizo Sausage, Maple Bacon Bits, Crispy Shallots

POUTINE STATION (chef-manned station - requires power)

Freshly Fried French Fries, Gravy and Cheese Curd for the basic option, or choose to go fancy with pulled pork, beer braised chicken, spicy sausage, cheddar cheese, green onions, house pickled onions & jalepenos,

DIM SUM DUMPLING STATION (chef-manned station)
assorted dim sum style dumplings (har gow, shu mai etc...) served with in bamboo steamers with assorted dipping sauces

SATAY STATION (outdoor only - requires bbq) (chef-manned station)
grilled satay skewers - tandoori chicken with mango glaze, bulgogi beef, char siu pork, red curry prawn, soy braised tofu, miso glazed shitakes etc...served with assorted dipping sauces

CARVERY STATION (chef-manned station)
Roast baron of beef, pork loin, turkey, or naturally raised chicken carvery (choose 2) served with bread and buns and meat specific condiment such as: roasted garlic aioli, seasonal chutneys, housemade onion relish, blue cheese, cranberry sauce, jus, gravy etc...

FRUIT SHORTCAKE STATION
A build your own shortcake station with seasonal fruit that may include strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, peaches, nectarines and cherries, chantilly cream, chocolate shavings and fresh baked shortcakes  

FRENCH PASTRY STATION
Assorted French pastry and petit fours, served with seasonal fruit

ICE CREAM SUNDAE STATION

Vanilla Ice Cream, Strawberry, Butterscotch and Hot Fudge Sauce, Candied Nuts, Toasted Coconut, Assorted Candies

Assorted Fruit and Nut Pies with Chantilly Cream
